Winter 2021 Waitlist Announcement
We want to wish you luck with any remaining exams and hope you have a restful holiday. Please read on for updates from the Department of Electrical Engineering & Computer Science about the start of the winter term.
Winter course delivery
As a reminder, all winter term EECS courses will be delivered 100% remotely with the exception of EECS 3216Z, which will have one in-person lab session in March or April, should it be safe to do so.
Winter course enrollment and waitlist process
If you require access to an EECS course and are unable to enroll on your own please email email@example.com with your student number to request access. Before you send an email, please ensure that you have tried enrolling in all sections and each lab/tutorial. If there is space in the course and the course is required for your program, we will make every effort to give you access this week or next.
If a course is full, or we are unable to give you access for a different reason, you should complete a waitlist entry. The winter waitlist will open on December 21 at noon.
The waitlist is meant to be a last resort. No section or lab changes will be processed through the waitlist. If you complete an entry requesting a section or lab change your entire entry may be disregarded.
Please note that the waitlist is not first come, first served; seats are determined by priority. However, new for the winter term, the waitlist will be multi-staged. If you submit a waitlist entry by January 3 at 11:59 pm, your entry will be processed by January 11. Entries received on or after January 4 will not be processed until January 20.
