Professor Farag awarded York research Chair
We congratulate Professor Hany Farag who has been awarded a York Research Chair in Integrated Smart Energy Grids. York Research Chairs have a 5 year term and in the tier 2 category support emerging research leaders within 15 years of their first academic appointment. Professor Farag joined the Department in July 2013 and received an Early Researcher Award in 2018. He leads the Smart Grid Research Lab which has received over $500,000 in research funding.
