Human Perception in a Simulated Zero-G Environment

Dr. M. Jenkin

Dr. R. Herpers
Professor Jenkin along with colleagues Laurence Harris (York), Rainer Herpers (Hochschule Bonn-Rhine-Seig) and Nils-Alexander Bury (also HBRS) study human perception in an atypical environment (underwater) in
an effort to understand the limitations of perception in the weightless environment of space. VR glasses worn underwater provided the test subject with novel visual recognition tasks.
