Graduate Student Calden Wloka Wins Inaugural EECS Three Minute Thesis Competition
On Tuesday March 15, the inaugural EECS three minute thesis (3MT) competition was held. In this competition, graduate students have three minutes to present their research and its impact. Students are challenged to do so using a single slide, without any animation or movement, and no use of additional electronic media or props. The final scores were very close: the top six participants were separated by only four points. Calden Wloka was this year’s winner with 91 points. Robert Codd-Downey and Qiyi Tang were both runner up with 89 points.
